NATURAL HAIR: CARE!

NATURAL HAIR: CARE

Hello Beautiful People..

This article is centered basically on NATURAL HAIR. I’m not anti-extensions but I strongly feel the need to share some tips on how to care, maintain and grow your hair since I’ve got wonderful hair. Believe it or not darlings, having great healthy hair gives great confidence.  Not everyone is born with long, full, bouncy, curly, shiny hair but you can definitely groom your hair. Trust me!

So this article is going to be divided into three sections. The first being

CARE:

Basic hair care.

Yes, yes, yes I know. (  you wash your hair frequently). But that isn’t enough you know.

How often do you braid your hair? Are you out of one weave by 10:00am and in another by 12:00noon?

Beauties, trust me, this is a NO NO! Let that hair breathhhhheeeee girl!

What shampoo and conditioner do you use? Anyone you can get your hands on? Or anyone the saloon you go to uses? NO NO NO. study your hair darling. Is your hair coarse and thick like mine? Is it thin and scanty? Is it short and curly? Or is it just dull and needs some revitalization. There are tons of products to use.  You just need to identify what’s best for your hair texture.

Summary:

-          Use the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type.

-          Allow your hair to breathe. Give it at least a week before your next hair do.

-          Learn to moisturize your hair ( very essential).

-          Learn to pack your hair in protective styles during harsh weather conditions.

-          I dare you to pamper your hair! (steam your hair with honey, egg etc.)
